Web Design with CMS (Content Management System)
It is important to have both a great design and functionality for your website. One without the other can be very frustrating to deal with. Blue Oxygen will design your website and implement one of the most popular content management systems available, the Joomla CMS. Joomla is used for websites such as Harvard http://gsas.harvard.edu/ and The US Army Corps of Engineers http://www.spl.usace.army.mil/cms/index.php. Although we prefer to use the Joomla CMS, we are available to discuss implementing a different CMS for your web project.
Static Web Design (without CMS)
Although we don’t recommend it we also offer web design without a CMS. Static websites are much harder to update and in today’s fast business marketplace, it is important to keep your site up-to-date with fresh new content.
HTML Emails
HTML emails are perfect for sending out newsletters or just news updates for your customers. It is simple to implement a newsletter sign up form through the CMS

Process
For our custom web design projects, we follow a 4-step process:
- Discovery
- Design
- Development
- Delivery
At the start of all projects, a 50% upfront initial payment is required before proceeding with the project. In the discovery stage for website projects, we begin by asking you to fill out our website design questionnaire so we can better understand your vision for the design. In the design stage, we design concepts for you based on our discussions with you and based on the questionnaire you've submitted to us. The design concepts display not only what the design looks like, but also how the website will be laid out and where the objects will be placed. Once the design is approved by you, we proceed with the development stage and begin to build out the XHTML/CSS of your website (and convert it to a CMS template, if required for your project). The remainder of the development takes place in this stage. When the website is ready to be delivered and the remaining payment has been made, we will deliver your completed website to you along with installation instructions.
